Help America’s Children Get Off on the Right Foot for a Heart-Healthy Life– Support the FIT Kids Act Today

Childhood obesity has reached epidemic proportions, increasing our children’s risk of cardiovascular disease. Regular physical activity is critical to fighting back and ensuring a brighter, healthier future. The Fitness Integrated with Teaching Kids Act (FIT Kids) would amend the No Child Left Behind Act to help prioritize quality physical education in our schools. Join in our effort to urge Congress to pass this legislation to provide more physical education for our kids and help them lead healthier lives.

We’re asking you to take part in our Sneakers for FIT Kids Virtual Photo Petition. Simply send a digital picture of your sneakers to Sneakers4FITKids
@yahoo.com – and we’ll add your photo. Each photo of well-used, active sneakers we collect will represent another American stepping up for physical education for our kids and help us demonstrate to Congress that ensuring the health of our kids is an important priority. With your help, we can show our nation’s legislators that the Fitness Integrated with Teaching Kids Act (FIT Kids Act) has supporters from coast to coast.
